Welcome to the European Military Historical Society
The European Military Historical Society (EMHS), was established to promote public
awareness of the sacrifices made by the common soldier, who served in Europe with the
German Armed Forces during the conflicts of World War II. The organization, known as
the European Military Historical Society will hold private and public battle
reenactments and private and public displays and presentations of members' military
memorabilia, uniforms, equipment and vehicles.
What We Are
EMHS is an organization of non-political historians, researchers, curators, collectors,
and reenactors with emphasis on the Spanish 250th Blue Division (Division Azul)
and the Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK - German Red Cross) that volunteered for duty
during World War II to fight Communism with the Wehrmacht Heer (German Army).
