Awards Criteria for Participating Members

War Order of the German Cross - Awarded in Gold and Silver. For the Gold one
must have the EK 1 and EK 2. The Silver required the War Merit Cross First
Class. To be awarded the German Cross in Silver you must purchase a vehicle
for the use of the unit or make a considerable contribution to the unit. A
field artillery weapon will also qualify for this award. Showing exceptional
leadership to benefit the unit will also qualify. Prior service personnel
with a Legion of Merit award in combat are eligible. Awarded by committee.

The Iron Cross
- First and Second Class - Attending re-enactments will not be sufficient to
earn this award. It will be awarded for one or more significant action on
the battlefield. It must display skill, initiative, dedication and
leadership. For the EK2 this skill must be above and beyond the call of
duty. Both awards will require two witnesses. Awarded to prior service
personnel with the Silver or Bronze Star. Awarded by committee.

Close Combat Clasp
- Awarded in Bronze, Silver and Gold. 10 days of hand to hand fighting will
earn you the Bronze. For our purpose you must attend 15 consecutive battles.
For the Silver 60 and for the Gold 150. Awarded to prior service personnel
with the Combat Infantry Badge (CIB) or Combat Action Ribbon (CAR), with one, two or
three stars.

General Assault Badge
- Awarded to Medical, Artillery, and Flak personnel serving with the
infantry. To earn this award you must participate in 5 battles and in actual
battle conditions, a three day event or be wounded while conducting an
assault. Medical personnel assigned to field conditions are also eligible.
Prior service personnel with a Expeditionary Medal are eligible.

Panzer Assault Badge
- Awards denoted by numbers in the bottom portion, also awarded in several
classes. It can be awarded in Bronze for 10 consecutives combat events.
Awarded for prior service as a tanker. Or by participating as a
Panzergranadier in 5 events. Silver awards will be awarded only to tank
commanders and staff. Also awarded for the destruction of 2 or more vehicles.

Anti-Partisan Badge
- Awarded for actions against partisans in the field. A dangerous award to
have after the war due to the conditions of the battle. Available in Bronze,
Silver and Gold. To be awarded the Bronze one must participate in 5 battles
that include partisans, non-combatants or resistance forces. 15 for Silver
and 25 for the Gold. Awarded to prior service personnel with SF service in combat.

Infantry Assault Badge
- Awarded in Bronze for 5 battles, in Silver for 20 battles. Awarded to
prior service personnel with the Basic Combat Infantry Badge. Personnel must
be strictly Infantry or Police personnel participating in actual combat.
Prior service personnel with a police specialty are also eligible for the
award if he served in a war. Not to be worn in conjunction with the General
Assault Badge.

Tank Destruction Badge
- Awarded for the single handed destruction of a tank. Awarded in Silver for
each incident and Gold for each 5. Not awarded to anti-tank units. Start
buying those Panzerfaust. Not eligible for other vehicles.

Wound Badge
- Taking hits will not earn this award. Issued in three classes for military
and civilians alike. Earned only during combat with a unit, Black maybe be
issued for first actual injury. Self inflicted injuries and DUI are not
eligible. Silver will require three injuries. Gold will require five or
more injuries. Prior service personnel with the Purple Heart are eligible
for the Gold.

War Merit Cross 1st and 2nd Class w/wo Swords
- Awarded with swords for actions in combat and without swords for peacetime
achievements. The 2nd Class is awarded in Bronze without swords for actions
that further the efforts of the unit and not acting as military personnel,
ie; doctors, nurses. Special recognition for those who make special
contributions not high enough for the German Cross. Awarded with swords to
individuals for special contributions under field conditions ie; special
needs required for the operation in hand. Awarded by committee.
Awards of the 2nd Class without swords to prior service personnel with a
National Defense and not in the AOR.
Awarded 1st Class with swords to prior service personnel with a National
Defense in the AOR.

Eastern Front Medal
- Awarded to all members of the unit that participate on two regular events and a Winter event.
|

Spanish Volunteers Cross (Spain)
- Awarded to all members of the unit after two regular events and Battle of the Bulge event.

Spanish Volunteer Medal (Germany)
- Awarded to all members of the unit after two regular events and one Winter event.
